Evidence, method and further reading
The argument in this publication combines institutional sources, research and documented association initiatives with #inextremis's editorial analysis. The self-assessment, mandate check, working tools and strategic conclusions are proposed applications to association communication, not independently validated research instruments.
The federation, consultation, speaker and external-answer scenarios are fictional. They illustrate decisions and consequences; they do not report client experience, measured returns or the frequency of an incident.
Association statements illustrate priorities, not a representative level of internal adoption. Announced projects are distinguished from demonstrated results. Findings from professional writing, customer support and creative tasks remain bounded by the settings studied.
EU legislation and relevant national law establish legal requirements. NATO strategies, French institutional practices and research perspectives contribute methods and questions; they do not become binding standards for civilian associations through their inclusion here.

For a broader perspective, Bennett and Livingston's The Disinformation Age examines the institutional context of disinformation, substantially in the United States. Read it alongside O'Neill on trust, Macnamara on listening and the different accounts of technological change offered by Mollick, Acemoglu and Johnson, and Crawford. [1, 2, 4, 13, 16, 38]
